Thomas Neil Crownover, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, son and uncle, passed away on March 17, 2024, in Edgewood, Maryland, United States. He was born on August 4, 1957, to Max and Willie Crownover (both predeceased).
Thomas was the beloved brother of Carolyn Pomeroy, Chuck Crownover and Raymond Crownover (predeceased).
Thomas is survived by his devoted wife, Sue, whom he married in 1992. Together, they raised 4 children: Amy Higgins, Thomas Higgins, Bryan Higgins, and Daniel Higgins. Thomas is also survived by his two other children from previous marriages: June Woody and Jacob Chamberlin.
He was also a loving grandfather to 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Thomas served in the US Marine Corps, where he dedicated himself to serving his country with honor and pride. He was a true patriot and his service was admired by all who knew him.
Outside of his career in security, Thomas had several hobbies that brought him joy. He enjoyed reading the bible, making others laugh, playing cards, shooting pool, listening to classic rock, watching TV, caring for his family pets and spending time with his beloved wife, Sue. These simple pleasures brought him great happiness and he cherished the time spent with his family.
Thomas will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His legacy of love, dedication, and service will forever be remembered by his family and friends.
