Thomas L. Anderson was the third child born to Deacon Tommie and the late Jessie Anderson on December 20, 1957 at Tachikawa Air Base, Japan. Thomas "Butch", as he was called, was educated in various public school systems, because of being a "Military Brat", He graduated from Potomac high School in Washington D.C. where he played football and basketball. After high school he attended Waldorf College in Iowa on a football scholarship. He met and married Karen Smallwood and to that union two sons were born, Thomas and Karl. Butch joined the U.S. A rmy and served in the 101st airbone division at Ft. Knox, Tx. Following his tour of duty he returned to the D.C. area and was discharged at Ft. Myers, Va. Soon after his discharge he met a lifelong friend, Sheila Brown and through this friendship his daughter LeAna was born. "Butch" worked as a cook through the years in different restaurants and had another daughter named Krystina Douglass. He was such a die heart fan of Dallas Cowboys football team. He experience different medical problems through his life starting early in life with heart requiring surgery. At the time of his hospitalization he was residing in Winchester, Va where he was working and had close friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Jessie, sister Judith and brother Steven. Butch leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, Karen and her two sons, Sheila and her daughter, and daughter Krystina.
