HANOVER Thomas L. Harvison, 69, formerly of Glen Rock, died Monday, September 15, 2014, at Harrisburg Hospital. Tom was born on January 17, 1945, in Olean, N.Y., a son of the late George C. and Rita I. (Kinnaird) Harvison. He was employed with the R.H. Sheppard Company, Hanover, prior to his retirement in 2009. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, having served during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a member of Fraternal Order of Eagles - AERIE 1406, the Amvets Post 22, and the Hanover Home Association, all in Hanover. Tom leaves his children, Georgia L. Wolfe and her husband, Mike of Dillsburg, and Todd L. Harvison and his wife, Erin of York; grandchildren, Justin and Delaney; two sisters, Rose Anne M. Hedrick of Dover and Gayle I. McMichael of Roscoe, N.Y.; and three brothers, Robert L. Harvison of York, Ronald M. Harvison of Glen Rock, and James W. Harvison of Lebanon. He also leaves his companion, Charlotte "Bo" Criss, and her children, Lisa Fuhrman and her husband, Troy of Hanover, and David Criss and his wife, Ashley of Hanover, and her grandchildren, Alexis, Jayden, and David "Buzz", all of whom he considered his own. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lois J. (Erdman) Harvison. A viewing for friends and family will be held Sunday, September 21, 2014, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Inc., 53 Main St., Glen Rock.
