Thomas Scott, 72, of New Llano, Louisiana, passed away on May 26, 2023 at Bryd Hospital in Leesville La. Thomas was born on August 16, 1950 son of late Mack and Shirley Scott.

Thomas was united in marriage to the love of his life, Victoria Juanita Elrod Scott on September 17, 1982. Victoria preceded him in death on August 6, 2020.

Thomas is a retired Chief of Police of the Leesville Police Department also served 15 years in the military prior to. Thomas loved working with others and loved making the city of Leesville a better place.

Thomas is survived by his daughters, Vickie Lynn Wyrick, and Jacquelyn Jenise Scott-Vargas; grandchildren, Gabriel and Zachary Scott-Vargas; Brother, James and Bobby Scott.

A visitation will be held Friday, June 2, 2023, 4:00pm until 8:00pm, in Jeanne’s Funeral Home and Crematory, 100 E Union Street, Leesville La.
