Thomas Harold Jackson-Ghant, passed away on May 6, 2024, in Hutto, TX. Born in Austin is remembered by those loved him. Thomas has always made time for gatherings and loved making events special. He will be, to say the least, greatly missed. 


He graduated from McCallum High School in 1992. In 1992 he accepted a position as a Coordinator at Gardner Betts Juvenile Detention Center where he worked for more than 18 years. He loved working with kids and running into them here and there. When they got older, they would always thank him for the impact he had on their lives.


The father of Thomas Jackson was Chris Jackson, and the mother was Luciana Willams, but Thomas' last name was changed to Ghant when his mother remarried to Harold Ghant, who ironically had the same name as Thomas when he was 6 years old. Who he also gained two bonus sisters Essence Ghant and Natasia Thompson.


Thomas was 25 when her gave his life to God. He. served at Mt. Zion Baptist Church.

His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. Rest in peace, Thomas Jackson-Ghant.
