Thomas Edward McCollumTom passed away on October 29, 2016 after a long battle with asthma and heart disease. Tom was born on March 10, 1928 to Dorothea and Ed McCollum in Bellingham WA, where he lived until he went into the Army Air Force after graduating from high school.Tom and his first wife Gloria, spent time stationed in San Antonio, TX and became parents to four children before returning to Bellingham.Tom spent most of his career years as a time salesman for radio stations in Bellingham, Wenatchee and Seattle. His time in Seattle is what he called "a porch climber", included working for KOMO, KVI, and KIXI. His favorite vacations were camping in Eastern WA and later, cruises and travel.Tom is survived by his wife of 48 years, Siddie; his younger brother Dick (Barbara), his children Bunny (David), Carrie (Vic), Mike (Kelly), and Mark; also granddaughters, Mary Jane, Shanna, McKenzie, Meagan, Christen, and Carrie Ann; and 12 great-grandchildren.At Tom's request, there will be no services.
