Theodore Szopinski, 88Theodore Andrew Szopinski, 88, of Midway, AR passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016 in Mountain Home, AR. He was born on November 30, 1928 in Chicago, IL to Ignacy and Lottie (Gielniak) Szopinski. He had been a foreman for Commonwealth Edison, Co. before retiring to Baxter County Arkansas, where he loved spending time golfing, fishing and hunting. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Claire (Tanguay) Szopinski of the home; three children, Debora (Mark) Kelley of Midway, AR, Sandra Szopinski of Bremerton, WA and David (Karen) Szopinski of Justice, IL; five grandchildren, Ryan, Nicole, Christopher, Joshua and Breann and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers and two sisters.A memorial gathering of family & friends will take place on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Conner Family Funeral Home beginning at 1 p.m. A chapel service will begin at 1:30 p.m. by Fr.
