Thelma Boss, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on August 17, 2024, in Fresno, California, United States. She was born on April 21, 1949, to Robert and Margaret Thornton.

Thelma married John Boss in year 35, and together they raised four children: Kendrick Boss (spouse Maria Boss), Mya Boss Henderson (spouse Hamriss Henderson), Jeremiah Boss, and Georgina Boss. She was also a loving grandmother to two grandchildren.

Thelma attended Eastern Alamance High School, where she graduated in 1967. She went on to study at California State University and graduated in 1971. Thelma worked as a 5th-grade school teacher at Ingram Middle Academy for 48 years before retiring.

She was actively involved in the Christ United Methodist organization and was honored with the Most Valuable School Professional and 2015 MVP Award for her dedication and commitment.

Thelma had many hobbies, including crocheting, cooking, and playing the piano. She will always be remembered for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and love for her family and community.
