Thelma Tines, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on February 2, 2026 in Washington D.C. at the age of 65.

Thelma was born on May 5, 1960, in Washington D.C. She had a passion for cooking and could often be found in the kitchen trying out new recipes. Her love for food brought joy to everyone around her.

Thelma is survived by her son, Derrick Tines, and two grandchildren. Imani Tines and Garry Tines jr. She will be remembered for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for her family.

Thelma's presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
