Thelma Jean Berwick Obituary

Apr 15, 1939 - Apr 22, 2019

This obituary is administered by:

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend

The Berwick family matriarch has gone home to heaven. Thelma Jean (Jeannie) Berwick, passed peacefully in her sleep during the early morning hours of Monday, April 22, 2019.

Thelma was married to Gary Berwick for over 50 years and she loved and adored him always. She loved her children: Debbie, Eric, Gary, Jr. (Bo), as well Jeffrey and Mynard who preceded her in death. Jeannie was the best grandma to her 15 grandkids and 11 great-grandkids.

Thelma lived a simple life as a wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandma, great-grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. Her proudest moments were sharing the achievements and accomplishments of her family. She loved to attend the school activities, games, and events of her grandchildren. Her favorites were always the Christmas programs. She was “Grandma” to all children that knew her. She loved holding new babies as much as she cherished laughing with the teens and adults. Jeannie loved the Lord and there is no doubt she is resting in heaven with her two sons and other family members. Her family has a lifetime of wonderful, fun, and happy memories. She will always be loved and forever missed.
