Terri L. Krueger, 72, was called home on October 20, 2025. She was born September 23, 1953, in Dixon, Illinois to George and Mary (Miles) Fletcher. Terri was united in marriage on September 20, 1972, to Robert Krueger. Although they would later divorce, they remained close friends.
Terri is survived by her ex-husband Robert and their four children. David (Lisa), Daniel (Stacey), Michael (Angel), and Tanya. She is further survived by her grandchildren, Zachary, Hailey, Darius, Alexander, Arrow, and Mason and great – grandson Elijah, sister and best friend Carol (Chuck) Sutton, and close friend Sharon Kozlowski that helped the last few years as Terri’s health declined.
Terri became a mother at a young age, it was her greatest joy and hardest job in life. She challenged the medical and educational system so her daughter Tanya could be raised like everyone else, despite the birth defects she was born with. Terri had a fierce sense of humor and was stubborn, but always had a strong belief in God. She struggled with bipolar disorder and anxiety for most of her life and was not afraid to talk about it, even when it was not a popular or understood subject. She enjoyed reading, watching daytime soaps and drinking her soda.
After being a stay-at-home mother and raising four children, Terri went on to work as a CNA in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. She often cared for the dying and went the extra mile to comfort families.
Terri was preceded in death by her parents, sister Linda, brother Dennis, and grand-daughter Samantha.
Special Thanks to the staff Compassus Hospice.
Per Terri’s wishes, no formal service is planned.
