Terri Joe Scott, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away on November 22, 2025 in Birmingham, Alabama at the age of 70. She was born on September 9, 1955 to Arthur Joe Harrell and Terri Michelle Harrell.

Terri is survived by her loving husband Roger Scott, whom she married in 1970. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Shayla Scott and Yolonda Evans (spouse Cedric Evans). Terri also had five vibrant grandchildren from Yolonda Evans( Cedric Evans Jr., Shamik Scott, Desirea Evans, DeVonte' Evans, Amber Evans). Great-grandmother of Jayce Evans(Amber), Skylar Scott(Shamik).

Terri had a vibrant personality and a passion for life. She attended Woodlawn High School, graduating in 1970, before continuing her studies at Miles College and graduating in 1973. Terri spent many years working at the Social Security Administration before retiring in 2014.

Terri had a talent for singing and could always be found swinging those hips on the dance floor. Her infectious laughter and warm smile will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

While Terri may no longer be with us, her spirit and memories will live on forever in the hearts of her family and friends.
