TERESA WELLMONLAWNDALE-Teresa Ann Cook Wellmon, 66, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, at Testa Family Hospice of Kings Mountain surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Jan. 22, 1950, in Cleveland County, to the late Flay and Catherine Shull Cook. She is also predeceased by her husband, Bobby Lee Wellmon. Teresa died of a broken heart following the passing of her husband eight years ago and after almost 40 years of a devoted marriage. She stopped eating and lost her will to go on. Teresa Wellmon was owner and director of Children's World Daycare, Lawndale for 33 years. She was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church. She loved and enjoyed spending time with her pride and joy, her three grandchildren.Mrs. Wellmon leaves to cherish her memories her daughter, Michelle Wellmon Miller,husband and very special son-in-law, Keith Alan Miller; granddaughter Makana Miller, grandson, Colson Miller and granddaughter, Kenzi Miller; special friends, Sammy Lee, Johnny Wease and Betty Ruth Fetzer; Chihuahua "Missy".A one hour visitation will be held prior to the service. A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2016, at Lawndale Baptist Church, 407 W. Main St. Lawndale, NC 28090, officiated by the Rev. Jim Kilby.
