Teresa Rodriguez, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2023, in her hometown of San Diego, California, at the age of 76.

Teresa was born on December 7, 1946, to her parents Vicente Rodriguez and Guadeloupe Rios. She grew up in a tight-knit family, surrounded by love and laughter. Throughout her life, she cherished the values instilled by her parents and carried them with grace and warmth.

In 1969, Teresa tied the knot with the love of her life, Raldulfo Gonzalez, and together they embarked on a beautiful journey. Their union was blessed with the arrival of five wonderful children, Elena, Jorge, Ernesto, Abraham, and Leticia, all of whom were a source of immense joy and pride for Teresa.

Teresa's love and dedication extended beyond her immediate family, as she adored each of her eight grandchildren, whose names we fondly remember today. Her grandchildren always brought her immense delight, and she never missed an opportunity to spoil them with love, treats, and the occasional tickle fight.

Known for her vibrant personality and perpetual smile, Teresa lit up every room she entered. Her infectious laughter was legendary, and she had a way of finding humor in even the simplest of moments. Whether it was cracking jokes, sharing funny stories, or just being a listening ear, Teresa had a unique gift for brightening people's lives.

During her youth, Teresa attended Chaffey High School, where she made lifelong friends and cherished memories. Even as the years went by, she stayed connected with her fellow alumni, attending countless reunions and reminding everyone of the incredible bonds they shared.

Outside of her roles as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Teresa had a passion for gardening. Her green thumb created a backyard oasis, full of vibrant flowers and flourishing plants. She took great pride in her garden and eagerly shared its beauty with anyone who stopped by.

Teresa's warm spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the immense pleasure of knowing her. Though our hearts ache at her absence, we take comfort in the countless memories she leaves behind, and the laughter she inspired in our lives.
