We are saddened to announce the passing of Teresa Sheard on February 1st, 2025 in the Bronx, New York.

Teresa Sheard was born on November 2nd, 1959 to Richard Montgomery (deceased) and Farisia Sheard-Hicks,

Teresa was a loving mother to Larry, Kenya (Missy), Jountel, and Dante.

She also leaves behind 6 adoring grandchildren: Corey, Lamont, Larry, Jaquan, Tyquan, Mi'Lani and one great grandchild: Yuri.

Teresa was the loving sister of Izora Sheard(Debbie) NY), Revell Montgomery (NY), Sherelle Montgomery (deceased), Taron Montgomery (SC), Creanna Crosland (SC), Richelle Montgomery, (SC) Dawn Twymin (NY) , Stacey Gittens (SC)

Teresa was the niece of Roberta Martin (NY), Bonnie White (SC) and Betty Turner (Ga).

Teresa leaves behind 3 Godchildren, Carisma, GG, Ashley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A proud graduate of NYC Public School High Schools Teresa was known for her incredible cooking skills. She could whip up a feast out of practically nothing, always impressing friends and family with her culinary creations.

Teresa loved children; giving them all a nickmanes that stuck with them through life

Teresa had a contagious laugh and an infectious energy that could light up any room. Her family and friends will miss her dearly, but they take comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her loved ones who have passed before her.

The family asks that you honor Teresa's memory by sharing a home-cooked meal with your loved ones and raising a glass in her honor. Rest in peace, Teresa. You will be greatly missed.
