It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Teresa M. Dohovits, who left this world on February 11, 2026, at the age of 68. Born on December 30, 1957, Teresa was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and spirit enriched the lives of everyone she encountered.

Teresa was the proud mother of two daughters, Latisha N. Brownlee and her husband Emmanuel J. Brownlee, and Deshondra M. Williams. Her greatest joy came from being a grandmother to her eight cherished grandchildren: Daniyha McClure, Christian Hodges, Norea Brownlee, Niccoli Brownlee, Tayden Williams, Noel Brownlee, Myles Holiday, and Emery Brownlee. Each grandchild held a special place in her heart, and she delighted in their accomplishments and adventures.

She rejoins her loving parents, George Dohovits Sr. and Gezella Dohovits, as well as her brothers, Tibor Dohovits and George Dohovits Jr., in eternal peace. Her family finds comfort in knowing they are reunited.

Teresa was deeply loved by many and leaves behind a legacy of compassion, warmth, and laughter. She had a unique ability to uplift those around her, and her presence will be profoundly missed.

A celebration of Teresa’s life will be held to honor her memory. In this time of sorrow, let us come together to remember the love and joy she brought into our lives. Teresa will forever remain in our hearts.
