Tem K. Armstrong, 57Muncie - Tem K. Armstrong, 57, passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at The Waters of Muncie.He was born on February 13, 1960 in Jamestown, Tennessee, the son of Max and Eula (Byrd) Armstrong, attended Muncie Central High School and later Ivy Tech Community College.He was an avid outdoorsman, loving both fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed Harry Potter books and movies. Tem was a wonderful Papaw and always enjoyed being with his grandchildren.Survivors include his children, Sarah Smart (husband, Robert) and Kyle Armstrong; four grandchildren, Summer, Valerie, Robert Jr., and Max; three brothers, Max "Pejoe" Armstrong (wife, Kathy); Kim Armstrong, and Charles Armstrong (wife, Lancalyna); his sister, Cookie Armstrong; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents.A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Delaware Christian Academy, 1901 North Walnut Street.The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be sent to the family at www.meeksmortuary.com.
