Telesfor "Teles" Raymond Abeyta was born on July 6, 1979 to Telesfor "Teddy" Manuel Abeyta and Gloria Helen Garcia.Teles went to be with the Lord on July 24, 2015 at his home in Cleveland. He is preceded in death by his parents: Teddy Abeyta and Gloria Garcia; his grandparents: Alberto and Frances Abeyta, and by his best friend: John Quillan, all who he loved dearly.He is survived by his son: Raymond Abeyta; his sister: Bernadine Garcia and boyfriend, Donald Valdez; his nephews: James and Joseph Hollinger; uncle Frank and aunt Lorraine and family from Bloomfield; uncle Harry and aunt Dolores and family from Bosque Farms, uncle Larry and aunt Elizabeth and family from Socorro; numerous cousins and friends also survive him."Teles" was a hard working man who loved the Lord with all he had. He put the needs of his family and friends before his own. "Teles"' bond with his son was unbreakable, and their love for the mountains was one of the same. Teles would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by all his family and friends and will carry on in our hearts.Services for Teles are as follows: 8 a.m. viewing, 9 a.m. rosary and 10 a.m. Mass on Thursday at St. Gertrude Church in Mora. Interment will follow at San Antonio Cemetery in Cleveland with his cousins Lorenzo, Frank, Robert and Rudy Abeyta, Terry and Richard Vasquez, Martin Romero, and nephew, Joseph Hollinger serving as pallbearers.
