Ted Perkins, 66, of Ft. Worth, TX, transitioned on July 27, 2018.  He was an Army veteran, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

An identical twin, Ted was born in Ft. Worth, TX to Ira and Floy Perkins on May 27, 1952.  In 1953 he moved to California with his parents and siblings and was raised in Los Angeles.  He enlisted in the U.S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1975. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Floy Perkins, and sister Sheila Perkins-Miller.  

Ted is survived by his son Marcus (Rachel), brother Ned, sister Yolanda, two grandchildren, Monte and Taylor, nieces Nicole, Winter, Whitney, nephew Shiloh and a host of other dear and loving relatives. 

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m., Friday, August 24th, at the Riverside National Cemetary in Riverside, CA.
