Taylor was born December 15, 2000, to JR Price and Laura Shepherd in Lewistown, Montana. Taylor passed in the early morning hours of Friday, October 16, 2026, at Benefis hospital in Greatfalls. Taylor had been privately battling cancer.
Anyone who knew Taylor knew her Beautiful Heart. I was blessed enuf to be one of her many added family members. Her favorite Disney Character, Stitch, taught us ‘Ohana means ‘family’. Taylor was Family to so many, by choice. The Love and support shown to her in her final hours was a wonderful send off for her as she joined Jesus in her final journey Home. Her “I got this” attitude got her thru months of pain as the cancer found its way into her brain. Today that battle has ended with her passing.
At just 25, Taylor was loved by so many. I have spent the last 48 hours reminiscing. Lost in memory of the beautiful vibrant child she was. What an honor it was to be her Auntie Stacie. The Love I held for this little girl. She personally inspired me to become a mother again to my daughters. She became a huge part of my sons and my life. And in time, adding my two girls, who Taylor loved as her little sisters. Laini and Taylor shared a very special friendship/sisterhood bond. Lynsie looked up to her…She quickly became Lainis second sister and Jake’s little side kick. The privilege and blessings this family made in the lives of myself and my children.
This loss is felt by so many today , as Taylor has gained her wings. We remind ourselves that she is free now. Free From the pain, in the arms of Jesus. I know she is met by her Grandmother Mary, her Gramma Great Ruth, her Aunt Becky, and her Grampa Vernon Price.
She is survived by her parents Laura Shepherd, Louis Price, stepmother Kaylah Price, siblings Jerred and Alyssa Shepherd., Jayme, James and Scot(JR), Her wife, Mekayla Lamott Price , their sweet little ones that were very special to Taylor, Serenity and Kynsleigh, and her many ‘Ohana. I want to thank all of her Friends and family, as we say goodbye to her remember her laugh and her smile. We Love You Taylor Ruth! Fly High Our Angel.
You can to the family or in memory of Taylor Price.
