Tawana Renee Smith was born on August 23,1979 in St. Louis, Missouri to the union of Renell Smith and Deborah Byrd. Tawana was the first child to be born out of 3 wonderful children. Tawana was a member of Mount Sinai church in St Louis, Missouri and she accepted Christ at an early age.

Tawana and her family moved to Los Angeles California in 1994, where she received her education in the Los Angeles school system and she graduated from Lot High School.

Tawana was blessed with 3 wonderful children Lavern Brown, Sherlly Smith and Thomas Smith. She was a very outgoing person, she loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed shopping, traveling and cooking. She was known for her beautiful bright smile which was known to light up any room. Also known for her stylish outifts, tennis shoes and her love for gold jewelr. Tawana was very loving and had an amazing personality.

Tawana leaves to cherish her memory her children, host of family and friends. Her mother Deborah Byrd of Los Angeles California, her two brothers Timothy Byrd Sr of Pasadena, California and Toney Byrd of Los Angeles, California. Also cherishing Tawana's memory are many of her aunties, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, all of whom miss her dearly.
