Tanya Perry, 38, of Augusta, Georgia, passed on March 31, 2023. Tanya was born on January 10, 1985 to Talmege and Sanya Roberson in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She was full of life and full of love and whatever she could do for anyone she would do.

Having similar characteristics as her mother and grandmother, Tanya learned the value of life and the importance of becoming a provider. Regardless of what life threw at her, Tanya never let go of God’s unchanging hand.

On August 15, 2012, Tanya married the love of her life, Jeffrey Roberson. A passionately and lovingly committed couple for 16 years, they spent their lives traveling and exploring the world until life decided otherwise.

In addition to her mother, Tanya is preceded in death by her brother Stevenson Jones; maternal grandparents, Emma Lee Bradford, Marion Oliver, Sr; paternal grandparents Ruby Lee Simon and Mace Patrick, Jr; her mother and father-in-law: Wallace Roberson, Sr., and Lorine Roberson.

Tanya leaves to cherish her memories: A son, Ali Patrick and her daughter Ja’Miracle Roberson both of Girard; Children reared as her own, Tyasia Doe, Statesboro, GA, Jeffrey Doe, Jr, Arieyonna Herrington both of St. Petersburg, FL; Two sisters, Kamya and Freya Roberson both of Fort Lauderdale; A sister/best-friend and caregiver Jameila Jeffers of Augusta, GA; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and a host of other family members.
