Mr. Tanner Bryan Testerman Pruitt of Crumpler died on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. He was 19.

Mr. Pruitt was born on June 30, 1995 in Ashe County to Richard Testerman and Jennifer Pruitt. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Tony Pruitt and his paternal grandfather, Ronnie Testerman.

Mr. Pruitt is survived by his mother, Jennifer Pruitt of Crumpler, father, Richard Testerman of Crumpler; two brothers, Drake McKiddy and wife Harley of Crumpler, Brent Pruitt of Crumpler; maternal grandmother, Carolyn Turner of Crumpler, paternal grandmother, Ann Testerman of Crumpler; maternal great-grandmother, Dean Turner of Lansing; girlfriend, Anna Gonzalez of Mouth Of Wilson, Va.; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 8 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2014, at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel by the Rev. Russell Sheets.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2014, at Ashelawn Memorial Chapel.
