We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Sylvia Wadkins on February 26, 2025, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. She was born on May 2, 1950, to her parents George and Mary Hicks.

Sylvia was married to her beloved spouse Christian in the year 23, and together they raised a beautiful family. She is survived by her five children: Christian, Danielle (spouse Larry Moore), Evonn (spouse Delia), Mary (spouse Tom Whittingham), and Tyana (spouse George White). She was also a loving grandmother to 10 grandchildren.

Sylvia worked at Verizon and retired in 2003. She was a dedicated member of the Angels in Motion organization, where she devoted her time to helping those in need. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting and creating beautiful works of art.

Sylvia Wadkins will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
