We are saddened to announce the passing of Sylvia Wallace, who left us on May 16, 2026, at the age of 50 in Columbus, Ohio, United States. Sylvia was born on March 30, 1976, to Eugene Houston and Darlene Wallace Houston.

Sylvia married Sherman Brown in 2011 and they shared a beautiful life together, raising their five children: Ronnasia Wallace, Zaquanna Shirley, Zyneesh Shirley, Diesel Sims, and Dezjuan Sims. Sylvia adored her family and was a loving spouse, mother, and grandmother to seven grandchildren.

After graduating from East High School in 1994, Sylvia pursued a career in nursing, where she dedicated herself to caring for others. Her compassion and kindness were evident in all aspects of her life, especially when she was helping the elderly.

Sylvia's warm smile and infectious laughter will be dearly missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace, knowing that her legacy of love and care lives on in the hearts of those she touched.
