We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Sylvia Hernandez, who was born on March 6, 1954 in Los Angeles, California, United States. She peacefully departed from this world on May 6, 2025.

Sylvia was a devoted wife to Antonio Hernandez, whom she married in 1986. Together, they raised three children: Enrique Franco and his spouse Chelsea Franco, Yesenia Franco, and Tessa Franco Ruiz and her spouse Rubin Ruiz. Sylvia was also a loving grandmother to four grandchildren.

During her career, Sylvia worked tirelessly at Tri core until her retirement in 2013. In her free time, she volunteered at the UCLA NICU organization, providing care and support to newborns in need.

Sylvia's hobbies included quilting and scrapbooking, where she found joy in creating beautiful pieces of art. Her kind heart and gentle spirit will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Unfortunately, Sylvia's life was cut short by pneumonia, leaving a void in the hearts of her loved ones and the community she touched. She will forever be remembered for her generosity, compassion, and unwavering love.
