Sylvester Howard was born July 26, 1944 in Scott, Mississippi, the second of five children to the union of Alonzo Sr. and Ruby Mae (who preceded him in death).

Sylverster was baptized and confessed to Christ at an early age.

The family relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1962 where Sylvester married the late Johnnie Mae.

The life of a caring brother, father, uncle, grandfather, cousin and friend was called home to be with the Lord too soon for us, but on time for our heavenly Father after an extended illness. 

He leaves to carry on his legacy two beloved children, Nathaniel and Stephon, four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters. He will also be remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
