Sybil B. Casares, 71, of Mescalero, New Mexico, passed away on November 7, 2017, at Gerald Champion Memorial Hospital in Alamogordo, New Mexico.Ms. Casares was born on July 11, 1946, in Mescalero, New Mexico, to David Belin Sr. and Daisy B. Belin.She graduated from St. John's Indian School in 1965 in Arizona. She had some college education, in the medical field. She was a certified R.N. She left the medical field to be a wife and full time mother of 8 children.She enjoyed traveling.She is survived by her ex husband ( of 26 yrs.) Lupe Casares Sr. of Mescalero, NM; 4 sons, Lupe Jr. of Ft. Knox, KY, Antonio Sr. of Forgan, OK, Robert andRaymond of Mescalero, NM; 3 daughters, Theresa Casares of Albuquerque, NM, Donna and Christine Casares of Mescalero, NM; 3 sisters, Arlene Martinez, Loree Marin, & Dorotha Whitebird of Mescalero, NM; 1 brother, Avery Belin Sr, of Mescalero, NM; 15 grandchildren; some great grandchildren; and several nephews & nieces.She was preceded in death by her son, Jody Casares; 3 brothers, Matthew, David Jr, and Charles Belin; her father David Belin Sr. and mother Daisy B.
