Suzanne Smart Hadley, 62, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2015, after a courageous battle with cancer. Suzanne was born on Aug. 10, 1952, in Preston, Idaho, the daugther of Marlow and Barbara Smart. Suzanne attended West Side High School, where she was involved in many activities and even held the high jump record for many years. On Sept. 25, 1970, Suzanne married the love of her life, Kent Robert Hadley. They were later sealed in the Logan LDS Temple for time and all eternity. They resided Swan Lake, Idaho, where they ranched and raised their family. Suzanne has worked for Steven Fuller Law offices for the past 25 years as a legal secretary. She loved her work and always had a smile for all those that came in. She made many lifelong friends there and touched many people's lives.Suzanne's sanctuary was being outside taking care of her plants and mowing lawns. Suzanne and Kent made a beautiful campground in Southern Idaho called Gooseberry where they spent many summer days and nights enjoying nature and the fresh mountain air. Suzanne loved music and playing the piano. She loved to be with her family; her grandchildren were her greatest pride. She always prepared games and events for holidays for her grandchildren and thrived on their smiling faces. Suzanne was an active church member and served in various positions in her ward and stake. She was the Stake Primary President for many years. Her faith and diligence brought many tender mercies in her year of service and trials. She is survived by her husband, Kent Hadley, two sons Ryan (Jennifer) Hadley, of Dayton, Idaho; Jared (Jessica) Hadley of Ogden, Utah; and her daughter Amy (Nick) Wuthrich of Logan, Utah; six grandsons, three granddaughters, her four brothers, Steven (Judy) Smart, Robert (Sheryl) Smart, Carl (Jennifer) Smart, all of Pocatello, Idaho; and Paul (Victoria) Smart, of Preston, Idaho. She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law Robert Hadley, and niece Sabrina Smart. The family would like to thank the Logan Cancer Center, staff, nurses and Dr. Ben-Jacob for all of their love and care for Suzanne the past nine years. Also family members would like to thank the medical teams and the Huntsman Cancer Center for all the love and care given to Suzanne in her final days. Throughout all the time battling her illness, Suzanne was courageous, patient, humble, giving and loving to everyone as if she had no affliction whatsoever.
