Susan Brown, a beloved resident of Albany, Georgia, passed away peacefully on January 27, 2025, at the age of 95.

Born on July 15, 1929, Susan was the daughter of Julia Bush Lemon. She was a loving mother to her children, Tyra Jones and Robert Dorsey, and was preceded in death by her daughter, India Dorsey. Susan also leaves behind one cherished grandchild.

After graduating from Madison High School in 1945, Susan dedicated many years of her life to the Dougherty School System, where she worked diligently until her well-deserved retirement in 2013.

Known for her kind heart, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for her family, Susan will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Although she will be greatly missed, Susan's family finds comfort in knowing that she is now at peace. Rest in peace, dear Susan.
