SUE UPTON VERNIER Sue Upton Vernier passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 in her home in Stevensville, Montana. She was 66 years old. She was born on March 25, 1950 in Chico, California to Scotty Upton and Billy Sue Upton. She was one out of six children. She graduated from Paradise High in Paradise, California. After graduation, she delved into the professional field of dentistry. On Sept 4, 1971, Sue married Bruce Venier in Reno, Nevada. She was preceded in death by her father, Scotty Upton in 2006, her sister Debra Jean Upton Udovich in 1979, and her nephew Joshua Udovich in 1979. Sue's mother, Billy Sue Poteet Upton, of Paradise, California, survives her. She is also survived by three brothers and a sister; Charles Upton of Woodland, California, Steve Upton of Flathead Lake, Montana and Scott Upton of Napa, California and Stacy Upton Wood of Paradise, California. Sue's husband Bruce Venier resides in Stevensville, Montana, whereas her son Shane Venier is located in Flathead Lake, Montana. Stepson Steve Venier and granddaughter reside in Marysville, California. Sue's memorial service will be held at the Our Savior Lutheran Church, 6404 Pentz Road, Paradise, Ca. on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. A gathering will follow the service. Sue will be ultimately be laid to rest in her home of Stevensville, Montana.
