Kunz, Stuart R,83, of Louisville, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2017, at Norton Suburban hospital, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 29, 1934 to the late Jacob and Adeline Kunz.Stuart was an Army veteran, a long time employee of 37 years with General Electric and a great friend to anyone who knew him. He was a devoted husband, loving father and grandfather for his family. Stuart was a strong, hard working man, both in body and mind; there wasn't anything he couldn't do. He loved sports, especially baseball and watching the Louisville Cardinals but got the most joy out of life by spending time with his family and grandson, of whom he was very proud. Stuart is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Phyllis Kunz of Louisville; his one and only daughter Lesley, her husband Jason Rahschulte and his wonderful grandson Kyle Rahschulte of Williamstown, KY.Funeral Service will be held on July 19, 2017 at 1PM with visitation on July 18, 2017 from 5 PM-8PM at Ratterman Funeral Home, 12900 Shelbyville Rd, East Louisville.
