Stewart Smith, beloved husband, father, and teacher, passed away on March 20, 2024, in Lumberton, North Carolina, at the age of 55. He was born on September 10, 1968, to the late Edward and Doretha Smith.

Stewart leaves behind his devoted wife, Annie Smith, and three loving children, Shanice Smith, Mica Thompson, and Kion Smith. He was also a cherished grandfather to seven grandchildren.

Stewart attended Scotland High School and graduated in 1986. He went on to pursue a career in education, where he made a lasting impact on the lives of his students.

Outside of his professional life, Stewart had a passion for fishing, cooking, and camping. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, communing with nature, and creating delicious meals for his family and friends.

Stewart will be remembered for his kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to his loved ones. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
