Steven Craig MitchellMoorpark, CASteven Craig Mitchell passed away on April 11, 2017 in Moorpark, California. He was born on July 4, 1951 at Hollywood Presbyterian Hospital. He is survived by his mother Mary, his two sons Kevin and Craig and two grandsons Harrison and Raylan. Steve attended Alemany High School and worked at Dupars restaurant as a chef. After that, Steve enlisted in the Air National Guard and served four years. Later he was hired by the Auto Club where he would work until his retirement. Steve was married at age 22 to Sherrie Bejcy and they had two amazing sons together. Steve was known as a very thoughtful and giving person and expected nothing in return. He was extremely generous with his time. Steve enjoyed coaching his sons baseball and soccer teams and also volunteered with the cub scouts. In his spare time he loved playing golf, softball, cooking, gardening, painting and photography. He was also an animal lover. Steve loved his mother very much and spent his later years taking care of her until his passing. Steve donated his body to science.
