Steven Daniel Brown Steven Brown passed away Feb 6th 2012 at St. Peters hosp. after a short illness. He was born on Oct. 6th 1947 in San Francisco and grew up in Palo Alto Calif. Steven married Janice Slough in 1969 and together they moved to Olympia, Wash. in 1979. They later divorced. Steven worked for the U.S. Postal Service from 1979-2009. As a boy Steven loved the outdoors, and with his parents, siblings, and cousins, explored and made many fantastic discoveries in Yosimite and the high Sierras. Later, this wanderlust would take him around the Pacific NW, and eventually to Europe and Africa with his son Adam. Steven also loved music, good wine, and 1960's culture. Steve is survived by: Catherine Ann Johnson and husband Shane of Olympia, Washington, Justin Daniel Brown and Wife Beth of Allyn, Washington, Adam Tyler Brown of Olympia, Washington and their mother Janice Ann Brown; by his grandchildren Christopher Patrick and Samantha Ann Johnson and Logan Daniel and Isabel Marie Brown; by his siblings David Edwin Brown , Douglas Richard Brown, Katherine Jane Hall, Sarah Elizabeth Slate, Mark Deming Brown; and by his significant other Michelle Cady Wilson. There will be an informal gathering to remember Steve at his favorite hangout, The Fish Bowl Brew Pub, 515 Jefferson St SE, Olympia, Washington on February 18 from 3PM-6PM.
