Steven Barber Sr.1956 - 2014Steven Barber Sr., 57, of Salem passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 15, 2014, at his cabin in Goodrich, Wis.Steven was born on Oct. 27, 1956, in Kansas City, Kans., the son of Robert and Wreatha (Kindle) Barber. He was educated in the schools of Missouri and Kenosha. He married Lori Morris on Oct. 24, 1981, in Kenosha. He was a member of the U.S. Army. Steven was employed at IEA and Pneumatech for many years. He was a member of First Christian Church. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, playing softball andsports, going up north to his cabin, and spending time with family and friends, especially his grandson, Kaleb.Survivors include his wife, Lori Barber of Salem; children, Steven Barber Jr., of Mt. Pleasant, Wis., Josh (Christin, his favorite daughter-in-law) Barber of Waxahachie, Tex.; mother, Wreatha Barber of Warsaw, Mo.; brothers, Robert Jr. (Amy) Barber of Warsaw, Mo., Chris (Linda) Barber of Weston, Wis., Audy (Lisa) Barber of Coosbay, Ore.; sister, Vicky (Danny) Stahnke of Athens, Wis.; a grandson, Kaleb Barber; in-laws, Jack and Cathy Morris of Salem; and many nieces andnephews.
