Steve JonesAugust 13, 1962 - November 1, 2013Steve Jones, 51 of Lava Hot Springs, Idaho and formally of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, passed away peacefully of a sudden illness, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 13, 1962 in Miami, Florida to Richard and Jo-An Jones. He was raised in Fort Lauderdale and from graduated Hollywood Hills High School in 1980. He was a master sky diver with thousands of hours logged. He also loved hang gliding, motorcycle riding, scuba diving, skiing and traveling; "he never let grass grow under his feet", he was always on the move enjoying life. After retiring from Sparta Insulation in Florida, Steve moved to Lava Hot Springs. Steve cherished his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Steve is survived by his loving wife, Kelly; children, Shannon and Ryan, all of Lava; sister, Joanne Cascio; nephews, Chad Canida and Michael Cascio all of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday November 7 2013 at 7:00 PM at the Greystone Manor located at 187 South 200 West in Lava Hot Springs.
