It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Steve James Ray (64) on February 14, 2024, in Helena, Arkansas. He was born on January 3, 1960, to James and Mary Ray.

Steve lived a quiet and simple life, dedicating his time to travel with his dog, Bear. He was a devoted son and a loving brother to his siblings. He had a kind heart and always put others before himself.

Steve was a hardworking and a jack of all trades. He was known for his love of nature and his hunger for exploring new places. Steve had a love for meeting new people where he was known for stricing conversation with anyone who would listen. He found solace in the beauty of the natural world.

Steve is survived by his brothers John and mark(lisa) Ray, and a host of neices and nephews. He is preceaded by his parents James and Mary Ray.

Steve’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved him. He touched the lives of many with his kindness and generosity, and his neices and nephews will carry on the same love of nature and adventure.

The memorial celebration will take place on Saturday February 24,2024 at his home. Releasing of balloons to follow.
