Burial will follow the service at St. Joseph's Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 2-4 and 6-8 on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at Brucker Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark, OH.Steve, age 64, of Newark passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at his home. He was born on July 18, 1952, in Newark, OH to Mary (Brown) and the late Earl "Doc" Elliott.In his free time, Steve enjoyed golf and cheering on any sports team from Cleveland. More than anything, Steve loved his family. He always put them first, making sure they knew how loved they were. Steve was a member of the Granville Men's Association and Phi Alpha Beta Fraternity.Steve is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Donna (McMullen) Elliott, and his mother, Mary. He also leaves behind his children, Seth (Sarah) Elliott, Shea Elliott, Jeff Sears, Jeaneen Durham, Lauren Durham, and Rick Durham; grandchildren, Caitlin, Brennin, Sianna, Syler, and James; siblings, Sandy (Roy) Shell, Sheila (Guy) Rutisill, Stacey (Kelly) Elliott, and Sherman (Amy) Elliott; and various nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his father, Doc.In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Nationwide Children's Hospital Foundation, P.O.
