XENIA - Steve Bowermaster, age 66 of Springfield passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2015. He was born on January 25, 1949 to the late Paul Neil and Irene (Rader) Bowermaster in Xenia, Ohio. In addition to his parents, Steve is preceded in death by his son, Christopher Bowermaster and 2 brothers, Larry and Arthur Webb. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his beloved wife of 48 years, Patricia Bowermaster; a son, Paul (Shelly Morgan) Bowermaster; a daughter, Jammie Bowermaster; 2 brothers, Joseph (Terri) Bowermaster and Kenneth Webb; 2 sisters, Paula Howard and Betty Byerly; grandchildren: Brandon and Kala Bowermaster and Cierra, Ashlynn and Christian Dooley as well as 3 great-grandchildren. Steve served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the AmVets. He was a retired plumber who loved to play and listen to country music. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 from 12:00-2:00 p.m. at Grace Baptist Church in Cedarville, with Chaplain Bruce Heckman officiating the funeral that will begin at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Massie Creek Cemetery.
