Steve A. AspergerTIFFIN: Steve A. Asperger, 49, of Tiffin, passed away at 9:20 p.m., Sunday, July 23, 2017 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo.Steve was born on July 27, 1967 in Fremont, to Sylvester Asperger and MaDonna (Wyss) Bennett. He married Rhonda Scharmm and they later divorced.Survivors include his mother, MaDonna of Tiffin, step-father, Donald Bennett of Tiffin, a daughter, Sarah Asperger of Walbridge, three sisters, Diana Perry of Fremont, Monica Diaz of Fremont, Deb Yandura of Tiffin and a step-brother, Steve Bennett.Steve worked at Nichols Bakery in Fremont and enjoyed playing his guitar and coaching Little League Baseball in Fremont. Steve was a Cleveland Browns and Indians Fan.Steve was preceded in death by his father and a nephew, Michael Perry.Funeral services for Steve will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 27, 2017, at the Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin, with Pastor James Martin officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, from 10-11 a.m., at the funeral home.
