Stephen "Jack" Cooper, age 73, of Bradford, NY went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Ira Davenport Hospital. Stephen was born on July 4, 1943 in Ithaca, NY to Stephen Vincent and Adelaide Louise (Sarsfield) Cooper. He married Dianne L. Gillespie on December 26, 1964 in Montebello, CA. Stephen served in the Navy from 1961 to 1967 and was a stone mason prior to his retirement. More recently Stephen was a member of Victory Highway Wesleyan Church, and The National Audubon Society, Elmira Chapter, where he was past president. During his retirement, Stephen worked part time with B & C Photo in Elmira specializing in framing and matting. He also owned and operated My Father's World Photography and was an award winning photographer. Stephen cherished his dream home on Lamoka Lake and was an avid fisherman and creator of one-of-a-kind fishing lures.Stephen is survived by his wife, Dianne L. Cooper; two daughters: Tammy (Rob) Cooper of Millis, MA, and Becky (Hans) Malloy of Cortland, NY; three sisters: Lynne Jackson of Knoxville, TN, Mary (George) Davis of Ovid, NY, and Doreen (Ronald) Elzinga of Traverse City, MI and three brothers: Michael (Brenda) Cooper of Ovid, NY, Mark (Tammy) Cooper of Midland, TX, and Larry (Carol) Cooper of Romulus, NY; son of the heart, Scott Posey of Bowie, MD; brother-in-law, Leo Luoma of Trumansburg, NY; grandson, Cameron "Jack" Cooper of Millis, MA; granddaughter, Aaliyah Malloy of Cortland, NY; and many nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents Stephen was predeceased by his sister, Sandra Luoma.Calling hours will be Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 4-7 PM at Haughey Funeral Home, Inc., 216 E. First Street, Corning, NY. The memorial service will be held at 3 PM on Sunday, October 30, 2016 at Victory Highway Wesleyan Church, 150 Victory Highway, Painted Post, NY. Memorial donations in Stephen's name may be made to Honor Flights Memorial, Permianhonorflight.org, P.O.
