Stephen Allen Marquess, 74Winchester - Stephen Allen Marquess, 74, of Winchester died of heart failure at the IU Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. He was born on July 29, 1942 in Noblesville, IN, to Raymond and Phyllis (Harvey) Marquess.Stephen was a 1961 graduate of Winchester High School. He retired from Anchor Hocking after 39 years. He loved the Cincinnati Reds, fishing, and listening to music. Most of all, he loved his wife, kids, grandkids, and all the kids he took under his wings.Stephen is survived by his wife, Jeraldine "Jerry" Marquess, of Winchester; three sons, Johnathan Marquess, of Winchester, Jason Marquess of Winchester, and Steven Marquess of Goshen, IN; four daughters, Shawana (Jerry) Himes of Goshen, Lisa (Floyd) Geesy of Winchester Heather Marquess of Redkey, and Stacy (Randy) Williams, that followed him into Heaven the next day; sisters, Shirley (Jay) Gibbs of Plainfield, IN and Carol Ann Wheelock of Franklin, TN; grandchildren, April (AJ) White of Goshen, Jerry Wayne Himes of Goshen, Josh (Jennifer) Geesy of Winchester, Trisha Cline of Winchester, and Minnie Cline of Redkey; step grandchildren, Jami (Sam) Prather of West Manchester, OH, Kristy Geesy of Fishers, IN, Tracy (Walt) Perry of McCordville, IN, Kaiti Cline of Farmland, IN, Jennifer Tutterrow of Economy, IN, and Heather Williams, of Winchester; many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.Stephen was preceded in death by his parents; brother, James Bell Marquess, and an Aunt, Nancy Gertrude Marquess. Funeral services will be on 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at the Walker Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Straley officiating. Burial will follow at the Reitenour Cemetery in Ridgeville, IN.
