Our "special" brother, Stephen Aderton Day, passed away peacefully on November 22, 2013 at Colby Campus, Providence Hospital. Stephen was born on March 9, 1947 to Floyd and Ione Day (both deceased) and spent most of his life in the Sunnyside area of Marysville. He leaves behind two sisters, Roberta Jensen (Lance) of Bellevue and Patricia Petterson (Norman) of Marysville; brother, Douglas Day (Dorothy) of Las Cruces, New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express immeasurable thanks to Nellie and Venus, his caregivers at Home Sweet Home Adult Family Home in Marysville where he spent his last years. There will be a graveside service at Cypress Lawn Cemetery at 1 p.m. on Monday, December 2.
