We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Stephanie Whaley, who was born on June 17, 1978, in Salisbury, North Carolina, United States. She passed away on January 21, 2026, after a brave battle with Cancer - Urothelial Carcinoma.

Stephanie was the beloved daughter of William and Joyce Long, and the loving spouse of Brian Whaley, whom she married in the year 2002. Together, they raised two wonderful sons, Landen and Tyler. Stephanie was a devoted mother who always put her family first.

Stephanie attended Matthews Academy high school and graduated in 1996. She was a dedicated student and made many lifelong friendships during her time there.

Stephanie will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Her warmth, kindness, and strong spirit will be remembered forever. May she rest in peace.
