Stephanie Bonita Weddington was born on December 22, 1951. She departed her life on July 03, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents Mildred and Leo Weddington, daughter Tonja McDowell, sister Zenobia (Peaches) Weddington, nephew James Rice Jr., great-grandson Tyree D. Martin.

As a youth Stephanie attended Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. She graduated from secretary and cosmetology school. She has took on many careers including being a furniture maker, seamstress, & nurse's aide. She also worked as head supervisor for many hotels in the hospitality field. She later retired to work on the hobbies she loves including word searches, reading, & painting. She loved watching black and white westerns, news, & variety of game shows.

Stephanie leaves her cherish memories & unconditional love to her daughter, Apostle Sonja Martin-Lauderdale (Minister Arthur Lauderdale), Son, Ramsey Lewis, grandchildren, Minister Alfred Pauling (Anjelica Pauling), Prophetess LaSonya Pauling, First Lady Zabian Summers (Derrick Summers), Melissa Lewis, Elder Rhonda Martin (Gracious Tucker), & Rosalyn Martin (Punkie).

Be-be had a host of fifty-five great grandchildren, aunts Maybelle Gordon, cousins minister Billie Zelmar, Kermit and Connie Boulware, Patricia Boulware, Dorothy Hood, Brenda Erwin, Cleola Gordon, & Mildred Kirkpatrick.
