Steph Leon Thomas, 42, of Columbus , Georgia, passedMarch 3, 2019. 

Steph Leon was born to Davis Thomasand Mary Thomas , November 22, 1977, in Columbus, Georgia. Hegraduated from Spencer in 1990 and received a Masters of Chemical Engineering from Tuskegee University in 1995. He married Mary Simmions Thomasin 1996, and they lived together in Midland,Georgia. Together they raised 2 children.

Heleaves as hislegacy 2children: Jordan Thomas and Ashley Thomas. He also leaves to cherish hismemory 5 siblings.His children remember him as a loving and caring father.

He was preceded in death by Mary Thomas, wife, Jordan Thomas, (son), and Ashley Thomas, (Daughter).

Steph was a Chemical Engineeruntil heretired in 2017and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.

A Memorial Serviceis scheduled for Saturday , 2:00p.m. in Phenix City Alabama.A reception will follow at Liberty Hill Missionary Baptist Chuch. Charlie L. Sanders will officiate the ceremony.
