Stella D. Wallace, 75, Montrose, passed away at home, with her husband by her side on Saturday, January 31, 2015. Her husband of 48 years, Bill Wallace, survives.She was born on August 8, 1939 in Taylor, to the late Joseph J. and Stella (Boniecka) Mrofcza.In addition to her husband, also surviving are her two sisters and brother-in-law, Fran and Walt Lewis, Newark, Del., Clara Carey, Clarks Summit; numerous nieces and nephews. Her sister, Florence Bush; and two brothers, John and Joe Mrofcza predeceased her.Stella began her career as a math teacher at the Montrose Area High School; she attained her Master's in Psychology and moved into the guidance department and in total spent 30 years in the school district. She touched many lives, was very helpful and always had an ear to listen. Her hobby was her horses. She loved her family very much as well as her Lord.A Funeral Service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at the Daniel K. Regan Funeral Home, Rev. Richard Spering and Pastor Michael Jayne co-officiating. Interment will be in the Rosencrants Cemetery, Dimock Twp. Friends may call on the family an hour prior to the service.
