Stanley J. Evans, of Libby, Montana left this earth peacefully to join the angels in heaven on December 1, 2014, in the arms of his best friend and wife, Patty (Hoerner) of 45 years. The son of Jesse and Mary (Gallagher) Evans, Stan was born on September 8, 1943 in Seattle, WA .Stan grew up and attended School in Naches, WA; Attended WSU, EWU, & CWU; taught school in Kennewick, WA, then moved to Libby, MT where he soon became the High School Principal in 1972 retiring from that position June 1998.
