Here lies Sonny Rearick, born on July 5th, 1925 in Springfield, Illinois. Sonny was the son of Jerome and Daphne Rearick and the husband of Margret, whom he married in 1945. He is survived by his three children: Derek Rearick and his spouse Bella, Gerald Rearick and his spouse Martha, and Donna Smith and her spouse Jeffrey.
Sonny studied at Lincoln High School and graduated in 1942. He then went on to work in the military, retiring in 1946 after serving as a Sergeant in the 3rd I tan unit for 4 years. Sonny's hobbies included fishing.
On May 10th, 2024, Sonny Rearick passed away from old age. He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, and a love for fishing.
Rest in peace, Sonny. May you forever reel in the biggest catch in the sky.
